La educación como factor clave para mitigar la pobreza

Abstract

La educación y la pobreza son dos ejes que continuamente se han abordado en conjunto, puesto que se piensa que la educación es un factor clave para poder aminorar la pobreza que aún no se ha podido erradicar y está presente en todo el mundo. En la actualidad los indicadores educativos son desfavorables; teniendo en cuenta que existe un bajo índice de desarrollo humano en diferentes contextos de pobreza, misma que pudo haber sido producto de las vicisitudes de sistemas educativos cambiantes. En el presente trabajo se aborda la importancia de la educación como uno de los derechos humanos imprescindibles de ejercer, capaz de reducir la marginación y la pobreza; todo esto en la búsqueda de formular políticas que atiendan dichos fenómenos de forma más integral que en el pasado.
