Aspectos a considerar en la aplicación de la coeducación emocional. Ed. primaria vs Ed. secundaria

Abstract

En este documento, a partir del análisis de diversos estudios relacionados con las habilidades afectivas, se reflexiona sobre las diferencias que hombres y mujeres presentan en las mismas. Nos planteamos si dichas desigualdades son innatas o por el contrario son fruto de los dispares ‘mundos afectivos’ y ‘roles de género’ a los que niños y niñas han estado sometidos desde los primeros años de crianza y si dichas diferencias se están atenuando debido a la evolución generacional. La importancia de indagar y comprender las diferencias existentes en las competencias emocionales entre hombres y mujeres y, entender los fenómenos o circunstancias que las han propiciado, va a permitir llevar a cabo una coeducación-emocional que compense las desigualdades a la que el sistema educativo y la educación no formal, han sometido a ambos géneros y, de ese modo, fomentar la convivencia y la cohesión social entre los sexos, teniendo en cuenta las diferentes características del alumnado de Educación Primaria y Educación Secundaria.
