La evaluación del impacto social de la actividad de ciencia e innovación. Una mirada desde el contexto educacional

Abstract

En el campo de la educación es importante reflexionar sobre el impacto de la actividad de ciencia e innovación. Particularmente, la evaluación del impacto social constituye un aspecto esencial por constituir la educación un servicio que se revierte en toda la sociedad. Se reflexiona en este sentido, partiendo de una discusión sobre el concepto de impacto social, siguiendo por el problema de la identificación de áreas y dimensiones para la evaluación del impacto, y culminando con el problema de la determinación de indicadores objetivos para esta evaluación. En todos los casos, el análisis viene acompañado de ejemplos que permiten valorar el nivel de complejidad que le es inherente a la evaluación del impacto social de los resultados de ciencia e innovación educacionales.
