Las orientaciones de la formación de los profesores de la educación superior para el siglo xxi en México

Abstract

Este ensayo tiene como propósito hacer un análisis sobre las orientaciones de formación de los profesores de educación superior para el siglo XXI en México a partir de la consideración de los principales cambios del entorno económico, político y social. Se establecen como punto de análisis los informes, metas objetivos del milenio y declaración mundial de educación para todos: antesala de las metas educativas 2021 de organismos internacionales (UNESCO, ONU y OEI), visión México 2030 en lograr una educación de calidad con formación en valores y capacidades para alcanzar el desarrollo sustentable plasmado en los planes y programas nacionales (Plan Nacional de Desarrollo 2007-2012 y Programa Sectorial de Educación 2007-2012), planes estatales (Plan Estatal de Desarrollo de Oaxaca 2011-2016 y Comisión Estatal para la Planeación de la Educación Superior en el Estado de Oaxaca) y el Modelo Educativo para el Siglo XXI. La tendencia internacional y nacional es buscar profesores que cumplan con ciertos perfiles y competencias para desenvolverse con pertinencia y congruencia en la sociedad del nuevo milenio.
