Fundamentación de la atención integral a las personas con Retraso mental desde un enfoque C.T.S

Abstract

Motivado por la experiencia práctica en la educación de escolares con diagnóstico de retraso mental y consciente de que la respuesta a la atención integral que requieren estos sujetos a escala social, constituye un problema complejo que demanda la participación coordinada de diferentes factores comunitarios, los autores se adentran en una investigación que se orienta al perfeccionamiento de las acciones que den respuestas a las necesidades de desarrollo de estas personas. La fundamentación de la propuesta se sustenta en un enfoque de Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad, el cual permite conformar una alternativa que alcanza nivel de sistema. La ponencia que se presenta resume los antecedentes, actualidad y fundamentos metodológicos generales de la propuesta, la cual ofrece perspectivas alentadoras por su alcance integrador, social y humano.
