La prevención de la violencia en la formación del profesional de la educación desde la gestión universitaria

Abstract

La violencia como complejo fenómeno social impacta en los diferentes contextos y espacios de la vida cotidiana, provocando daños físicos, morales y psicológicos con peligro para la vida de las personas. El espacio educativo no está exento de manifestaciones de violencia que se identifica en la literatura científica como violencia escolar y que afecta la convivencia escolar, el clima psicológico y emocional que debe primar en estas instituciones por lo que favorece al desarrollo integral de la personalidad de niños, adolescentes y jóvenes. La violencia en sentido general y escolar en particular impacta en cualesquiera de las etapas del desarrollo ontogénico generando situaciones que entorpecen la formación y desarrollo de la personalidad.
