Procedimiento para la evaluación de la calidad universitaria en la enseñanza de pregrado

Abstract

El movimiento hacia la calidad es un fenómeno mundial que adquiere cada vez mayor relevancia dada su influencia en, prácticamente, todas las esferas de la actividad humana; por ello, una universidad de excelencia, como a la que se aspira, tiene que centrar su atención en la constante elevación de la calidad de los procesos fundamentales que desarrolla: docencia, investigación y extensión; debido a la notoria trascendencia que alcanza el fenómeno educativo, como herramienta básica para la formación de la nueva ciudadanía. Ante esta realidad, cobra fuerza la instrumentación de sistemas de evaluación de la calidad educativa (Trujillo, 2008).
