Abstract

El presente artículo se titula “La dirección de la universidad en el siglo XXI”. Su objetivo: Proponer un grupo de ideas que contribuya a perfeccionar el proceso de dirección en las universidades del siglo XXI. Desde esta posición se abordan los referentes teóricos-metodológicos que sustentan este objetivo, dada la necesidad de elevar la calidad en la enseñanza superior con el menor costo posible, mediante la integración funcional de las diferentes estructuras de dirección que intervienen en la conducción de los procesos sustantivos que de manera integrada aseguran la misión de la universidad.
