El Portafolio Y El Rol De Profesores Y Estudiantes En El Espacio Europeo De Educación Superior

Abstract

El Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) ha implicado cambios fundamentales en los roles que han de adoptar los profesores y los estudiantes universitarios. Desempeñarlos adecuadamente conlleva, a su vez, aplicar innovadores métodos para que el nuevo sistema fluya y se alcancen los objetivos planteados para la Educación Superior. El objetivo del presente artículo es presentar las ventajas que el portafolio del profesor y del estudiante universitario poseen para el desempeño de los nuevos roles en el EEES. Más allá de una simple herramienta de evaluación o de recopilación de información, algo típico en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje tradicionales, el portafolio constituye un instrumento de gran valor para diseñar y gestionar el proceso educativo en la Universidad. Es un mecanismo favorecedor e integrador de las nuevas formas de pensar, de sentir, de relacionarse y de actuar que han de adoptar los principales agentes educativos en la Universidad: los profesores y los alumnos.
