Abstract

En las Universidades Pedagógicas, cada vez con mayor frecuencia, se aboga por perfeccionar la formación inicial de los futuros profesionales de la educación, pero para lograr tal objetivo es necesario estudiar profundamente el modelo del profesional que se quiere alcanzar. Es en este modelo del profesional donde se plantean cuáles son las funciones profesionales que deben desarrollar los maestros en su futura profesión, entre las que se encuentran las docentes-metodológicas, las de orientación y las de investigación, sobre las cuales se debe incidir constantemente para la preparación del maestro que se forma.
