Abstract

El Centro Universitario de Las Tunas está integrado por 4 facultades: Ciencias Económicas, Ciencias Agrícolas, Ciencias Técnicas y Ciencias Sociales y Humanísticas. Cada una de estas facultades se empeña en lograr el mejor funcionamiento del centro y realiza su aporte para que la extensión universitaria funcione cada vez mejor y se logre la total integralidad de los egresados de la universidad. En este centro se puso en práctica el proyecto “Universitas” que es un proyecto de animación sociocultural de la comunidad universitaria y aunque las actividades realizadas por el proyecto han tenido gran aceptación se persigue la inserción de las facultades de la universidad en el proyecto para lograr su mejor funcionamiento en aras del desarrollo sociocultural de esta.
