Considerações Em Torno Do Papel Da Ética À Luz Do Debate Educacional

Abstract

Quis seriam os pressupostos para compreendermos a ética como um tema integrador no debate educacional? A partir desse questionamento inicial, aludimos que a ética é inerente à condição humana, social e política. Ela deve estar inserida nos processos educativos (educadores, alunos, supervisores, projetos pedagógicos). Assim, a educação deve agregar conhecimento e valores, incorporados na construção de bases epistemológicas do currículo. Daí surge a necessidade no aprofundamento da relação ética e cidadania. Pois, os temas éticos constituem estímulos para o debate pedagógico e a educação cidadã no sentido prático. E a escola, tem o papel de ampliar o debate sobre o que fazer “por um mundo melhor”.
