Abstract

Ofrece una descripción del escenario y contexto sociocultural, económico de la universalización de la Educación Superior en Cuba, su articulación con las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones. El informe presenta valoraciones e interpretaciones teóricas acerca de estos procesos en la región latinoamericana y los resultados alcanzados nacional y localmente. Se sustentan en el trabajo de campo de los autores, así como de varios análisis cualitativos que se relacionan y los datos que se ofrecen a diferentes instancias de dirección del país. Algunos rasgos, retos y resultados del modelo son mostrados en esta mirada al proceso de universalización en Cuba.
