Aspectos Didácticos Sobre La Utilización Del Vídeo En El Aula De Inglés

Abstract

La incorporación del vídeo al aula se inició a principios de la década de los 80 y se extendió paulatinamente eclipsando el protagonismo que tenía, por ejemplo, durante años el cine (como medio audiovisual) y la diapositiva (como recurso de imagen fija). Tal vez, llevado por el entusiasmo, prácticamente, generalizado que se vivía con respecto al audiovisual, el vídeo se acogió como la posibilidad de llevar el cine al aula (o diferentes programas gravados de la televisión, documentales elaborados...) y trabajarlo mediante la imagen fija, reponerlo cuantas veces sea necesario e, inclusive, se inició el camino para realizarlo, de un modo sencillo, por las personas implicadas en los procesos educativos. Además, el abaratamiento y perdurabilidad del soporte, sus posibilidades para ser compartido y la transportabilidad de un lugar para otro, hicieron del vídeo un perfecto aliado dentro de la actividad en el aula.
