Abstract

Diario de Campo es el título de la última exposición del pintor David Méndez, presentada el pasado diciembre en la sede de la Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme de La Laguna (Tenerife). El conjunto se compone de una serie de obras pictóricas en las que el artista utiliza como soporte amplias láminas de papel periódico para plasmar un conjunto heterogéneo de vivencias; un diario interior, un trabajo de campo personal que alude a la naturaleza, al pensamiento abstracto, a la influencia de las nuevas tecnologías, al lado primitivo de la condición humana y a la creación misma.
