Representaciones del deporte en museos y otros espacios artísticos

Abstract

Deporte y arte continúan siendo dos destacadas manifestaciones de la expresión humana contemporánea. En los últimos años el deporte, a través de distintas propuestas de representación, se ha convertido en un hilo temático de referencia en museos y otros espacios artísticos. De entre todos ellos, los Juegos Olímpicos se han convertido en el eje central de exposiciones y actividades artísticas alrededor del fenómeno deportivo. Pero son sobre todo los museos temáticos de deportes específicos como el fútbol los que han experimentado un mayor crecimiento. Otras actividades artísticas fomentadas por distintas instituciones completan nuevos ámbitos de representación en torno al deporte.
