El arte contemporáneo y espacio: la tensión en la producción de Rubens Mano

Abstract

El presente texto versa sobre las relaciones existentes entre las transformaciones sufridas por la producción artística y las que se gestan en los espacios expositivos, centrándose principalmente en la condición alcanzada en la contemporaneidad. A partir de las propuestas más recientes del arte contemporáneo, levantamos la cuestión: ¿los espacios actuales están se adaptando a estos nuevos presupuestos o siguen presos a una herencia anterior? Para explayar la cuestión, hacemos uso de una serie de obras del artista brasileño Rubens Mano, que opera sus proposiciones artísticas buscando problematizar las relaciones entre arte – espacios – público.
