Carter's actions in post-presidential years

Author Info

  • Sneh, Itai Nartzizenfield

This article argues that Jimmy Carter has not changed since he left the White House. Even those who were critical of his performance in office have credited his post-presidential activities in a variety of charities and in monitoring elections worldwide. Carter is valued as a highly principled, moral, ethical and honest role model who engages in good works and furthering justice. Through examining his words and his deeds, giving him due credit or exposing hypocrisy, the reality of his life since 1981 is explored.
