Estructura económica de la región Noreste de México con énfasis en la industria maquiladora

Abstract

A la economía de la región Noreste de México, delimitada por los estados de Coahuila, Nuevo León y Tamaulipas, le dan forma y la constituyen como tal diversos negocios que van desde empresas pequeñas hasta grandes establecimientos manufactureros, de los cuales algunos se cuentan entre los mayores de México. Este entorno económico está fuertemente ligado tanto a las economías de otras regiones del país como a algunas del extranjero, particularmente a la de Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, de las cuales las maquiladoras son componentes importantes.
