Abstract

The text reviews some of the most important issues and conceptual innovations that the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has developed in recent years, which were delved into in issue 353 of El Trimestre Economico, through the articles included. Based on such issues and the perspectives through which they have been addressed, an analysis of the state of the economy and economic policy in Latin America today is presented.
