Abstract

After a presentation of the evolution of the Sino-American trade balance (part I), we propose two methods of measuring the unequal exchange between the United States and China: one that considers the labor content directly incorporated into the exchange (part II); the other, inspired by Ricci (2018), focuses on international value and uses input-output tables (part III), which allows sketching a synthesis of sectoral analysis (part IV).
