Abstract

This text analyzes the recommendations of the Trade and Development Report 2019, by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), which, based on the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations (UN) for 2030, reflects upon the current global challenges that obstruct the fulfillment of such goals. It describes the financial, economic policy related, environmental and social challenges in comparison with the perspectives presented by the report, and explains the viability of UNCTAD’s recommendations.
