Abstract

Aunque es cierto que en los años ochenta se puso de moda la privatización, durante la presente década aún es un tema actual, y sin duda polémico. Razón por la cual reviste particular interés este libro, que examina y evalúa críticamente el contenido económico de muchas creencias en torno de la privatización. El texto reúne doce trabajos de catorce especialistas estadunidenses y europeos, agrupados en cuatro partes además de la introducción. Los tres ensayos de la primera parte, sin duda la mejor lograda, presentan la estructura conceptual y analítica. En la segunda se aborda la privatización en los Estados Unidos y la Gran Bretaña, y en la tercera en países subdesarrollados...
