Abstract

El punto de partida o, si se quiere, la motivación para este trabajo yace en la conocida tesis de la CEPAL, expuesta por el doctor Prebisch, sobre la retención por parte de los países industrializados de los bebeficios de su productividad creciente. Por otro lado, el tema también está inspirado por los planteamientos del profesor Rosestein-Rodan respecto a las tendencias a la acumulación del capital y el progreso técnico en los países "centrales", en vez de diseminarse en función de la oportunidades aparentes en cuanto a mano de obra y a recursos en la "Periferia"...
