Abstract

Introducción. El objetivo de este trabajo es intentar cuantificar el efecto de un cambio en la actividad económica en la evolución de los precios industriales en Chile. Para ello se estimará un sistema de ecuaciones econométricas que denominaremos "maqueta", por cuanto no se trata de un modelo que integre interacciones entre un bloque "volumen" y un bloque "precios". El sistema pretende captar el efecto de fluctuaciones de la demanda agregada en la formación de precios, sin considerar la posible retroacción de los precios sobre dichas fluctuaciones. En particular el análisis se centrará en el estudio de los tres posibles efectos de un cambio en el nivel de actividad en los precios: el efecto directo de tal variación en la funcion de precios, las presiones salariales que se originan(siempre y cuando exista una dinámica tipo Phillips) y por último la influencia de la productividad del trabajo...
