Abstract

Introducción. Es plausible que la desaparición(abril, 1986) de Raúl Prebisch lleve a ahondar el examen de las tesis interpretativas del desarrollo latinoamericano que modelaron -en juego recíproco con la realidad- no sólo a la CEPAL en cuanto a organización compleja sino al discurso público de gobiernos e intelectuales de la región. Con este impulso paradójico(muerte que apareja replanteos y perspectiva) algunos repetirán apologías reverentes; otros reabrirán el cauce a la censura irrestricta: extremos previsibles del duelo, del resentimiento y del caractér indiscutiblemente clásico de la obra prebischiana...
