AbstractIn the third issue of this year's volume of the European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention (EJEEP), we resume the journal's tradition of a Forum section that, from time to time, covers more than an interview with a distinguished colleague, who in this issue is Fernando Cardim de Carvalho from Brazil. We are always open for contributions leading to a productive debate between schools of thought and we explicitly encourage reciprocal interventions. Therefore, we are pleased to include a debate between Jens Reich and Fritz Helmedag on the principles of capitalist commodity production in this issue. The issue also contains the usual article and book review sections. The Managing Editors
