Abstract

In the XXI century, a constant economic change process takes places with a globalization and innovation acceleration, and a competitiveness increase in all markets. That makes public policies develop towards policies aimed at creating competitive environments and aimed also at policies where innovation, technology and entrepreneurship are more and more influential and decisive, against the physical infrastructures and old subsidy preponderance policies. Such an innovation and technology supporting environment needs different components that can be found in the different territories, so that these processes may be successful. We will go over these new intelligent infrastructures, intangible in some cases, which symbolize a fundamental factor in territory development policies and will also analyse in depth some of them (technology parks, incubators).
