El capital social: caso Lea Artibai

Abstract

The private sector can contribute to the creation of social capital: favouring the creation of the associations and multiplying the services of the intermediary agents who look for to improve the relations between the enterprises, promoting in a permanent way, forms of co-operation, cultivating mutual confidence between the organisational actors, spreading out a constructive and creative behaviour, promoting the presence of the common values, reinforcing the affirmation of the personal, familial and collective identity, encouraging the growth of the self estimation in the same experiment. In this study, there will be described the principal hits which were lived in the area of Lea Artibai, the one from which, have derived important results from the point of view of the economic development and social well-being, and in which the clue was settled in the whole co-ordinate work of young promoters, that has earned continuity at the time through the different forms of promoting the regional development, and constitutes clear examples of effectiveness of the social capital as a transforming agent of the environment. This article focuses mainly in the role performed by the Professional School of Lea Artibai, an organisation which since its origin was created to act looking for, all the time, the regional representativity and the integration of the different agents for the competitivity of the economic and social capital of the region.
