Abstract

The present work studies the impact of EEC integration on the Spanish Machine Tools industry from the supply point of view. At first deals with the returns to scale and substitution elasticity and considers its economics effects. The dimension of the entreprises and concentration are studied within the context of competition. Finally, the paper deals with specific cases. It is the authors''''s opinion that one of the solutions to the impact rests with proper industrial dimension.
