Abstract

This arlicte, analyzes the application of the european Regulation relating to the control of concentrations from two points of view: a) Horizontal: interpretation and application of different aspects of the regulation in the decisions of the Commission and b) Vertical: analysis of the decisions of the Commission by sectors, identifying the different sectorial approaches. Thus an attempt is made to offer a guide of the behaviour of the Commission when applying the Regulation, which must be of interest to every company which anticipases carrying out any of the many forms of concentration.
