Abstract

Recent studies on the productive structure of the Basque Country highlight its presence as an exporter in the rest of the Spanish State, and its low profile on international markets. Within a context of globalisation of production systems, the need for Basque companies to increase their international presence is unavoidable. There is no doubt that companies which know how to create their own internationalization strategies will find success. This report intends to contribute to this through the analysis of the stages the study of these possible internationalization strategies is based upon.
