Sobre la necesidad de la ayuda del estado para fomentar la autogeneración de electricidad en la industria: apuntes para un debate

Abstract

In recent years the Spanish administration has given different types of aid to promote the development of cogeneration energy systems. In this article, Pedro P. Villegas makes a critical review of the reasons given to justify, in the name of economic efficiency, specific state aid for those systems. He attempts to show that the arguments used are neither as solid as the cogenerating lobby claim, nor are the social benefits derived from the private use of cogeneration clear either.
