A controvérsia da desconcentração geográfica da indústria na década de 70

Abstract

Este artigo examina os efeitos da segmentação dos mercados de trabalho e benssobre a dispersão de preços e salários relativos na economia brasileira. O argumento teóricobaseia-se no comportamento das empresas nos setores oligopolista e competitivo daeconomia, por um lado, e no comportamento do trabalho organizado e não organizado,por outro. Sugerimos que as negociações entre firmas oligopolistas e trabalho organizadopossam ser vistas como um jogo de soma positiva; enquanto um jogo de soma zero caracterizaa distribuição de renda na economia como um todo. Portanto, concluímos que houveuma redistribuição de renda em favor dos lucros e salários dos agentes que atuam nos setoresoligopolistas, em detrimento dos outros agentes da economia.
