Abstract

The authors consider the main periods of formation and development of the companies in Ukraine's mining-and-metallurgy complex, describe their activities during the financial and economic crises and reveal the factors, which negatively affected their development. The article provides analysis of the guidelines of the state support given to the metallurgy companies and proposes directions of the interaction between the government and this country's mining-and-metallurgy complex in the context of its further development.
