Abstract

Bu calismanin temel amaci, literaturel bir perspektifle KKTC’deki banka krizlerinin temel nedenlerini ve sonuclarini ortaya koymak ve sektoru istikrara kavusturmak icin öneriler gelistirmektir.Çalismada elde edilen temel bulgulara gore; KKTC’deki banka krizlerinin temel nedenleri, dis etkenler, makroekonomik politikalardan kaynaklanan sorunlar, kredi riski ve yönetimi,yasal duzenlemeler, holding bankalar, Merkez Bankasý bilanco yapisindaki bozulmalar, sermaye yeterliligi, ahlaki boyut ve duzenleme ve denetlemedeki yetersizlik basliklari altinda ortaya konmaktadýr.Calismada ayrica, krizin banka mevduat ve plasmanlarýný olumsuz etkiledigi ve yerel bankalara guvenin sarsilarak mevduatlarýn Turkiye menseli bankalara kaydigi gozlemlenmistir.
