Turkiye Ekonomisinde Ucuz Acik

Abstract

Ucuz acik, cari acikla birlikte tasarruf yatirim acigi ve butce aciginin ayni anda goruldugu bir ekonomik durumdur. Bu calismada da Turkiye ekonomisinde ucuz acik hipotezinin gecerliligi 2004:1-2014:3 donemine iliskin zaman serileriyle ampirik olarak incelenmistir. Bu amacla ilgili doneme iliskin ucer aylik veriler kullanilarak sinir testi, ARDL analizi ve Toda-Yamamoto nedensellik analizleri gerçeklestirilmistir. Sinir testi sonuclari cari acik, butce acigi ve tasarruf yatirim acigi degiskenleri arasinda uzun donemli esbutunlesme iliskisine isaret etmektedir. ARDL analizi sonuclari ise butce aciklarinin ve tasarruf yatirim aciklarinin cari acigi uzun donemde artirdigini gostermektedir. Bununla birlikte butce aciginin cari acigi artirici etkisinin kisa donem icin de gecerli oldugu tespit edilmektedir. Nedensellik analizi sonuclarina gore ise butce acigi ile cari acik arasinda; butce acigi ile tasarruf yatirim acigi arasinda ve cari acik ile yatirim tasarruf acigi arasinda iki yonlu nedensellik iliskisi mevcuttur.
