Turkiye Ekonomisinde Endustriyel Buyumenin Kaynaklari: Girdi-Cikti Modeli ile Ampirik Bir Analiz (1985-2002)

Abstract

Bu calisma Turkiye ekonomisinde 1985-2002 doneminde endustriyel buyumenin kaynaklarini belirlemeyi ve analiz etmeyi amaclamaktadir. Bu amacla, 1985-2002 doneminin tamami ile 1985-1990 ve 1990-2002 altdonemlerinde endustriyel buyu-menin kaynaklari Syrquin yapisal ayristirma modeli ile belir-lenmistir. Talep yonlu bir yaklasima dayanan Syrquin Modeli, endustriyel buyumeyi dort kaynagina ayristirmaktadir: i) yurt ici nihai talepteki artis, ii) ihracat artisi, iii) ithal ikamesi ve iv) teknolojik gelisme (girdi katsayilarindaki degisme). Bu cercevede, 25 sektor icin elde edilen sonuclar sekiz ana sektor ve ekonomi genelinde toplulastirilmis ve alt donemler itibariyle karsilastirilmis ve genel egilimler saptanmistir. Bulgular 1980 sonrasinda uygulanan disa acik sanayilesme politikalarinin kisa donemde etkili olamadigini, uzun donemde ise goreli ola-rak daha etkili olmakla birlikte, ozellikle aragirdi kullaniminda disa bagimlilik sorunu yarattigini gostermektedir
