Abstract

Katýlým bankalarý geleneksel bankalardan farklý olarak risk paylaþýmý ve faiz yasaðý gibi Ýslami kurallara dayalý olarak faaliyet gösterirler. Buna karþýlýk geleneksel bankalar kar maksimizasyonu hedefiyle faaliyetlerini yürütürler. Eðer bu iki tip banka arasýndaki fark sadece sözde kalmýyorsa, Ýslami ve geleneksel bankalar bilanço ve gelir tablolarýndan elde edilecek finansal bilgilere dayalý olarak birbirlerinden ayrýlabilmelidir. Bu çalýþmanýn amacý, Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren geleneksel ve katýlým bankalarý arasýnda finansal karakteristikleri baz alýnarak ayrým yapýlýp yapýlamayacaðýný belirlemektir. Logit analiz modelinde 23 finansal rasyo kullanýlmak suretiyle araþtýrmacýlarýn iki banka tipi arasýnda ayrým yapýlýp yapýlmayacaðýný belirle meye çalýþýlmaktadýr.
