The EEC telecommunications sector : Between integration and projection

Author

Listed:
  • Lera, Emilio

Abstract

The policies of the EEC, as outlined in the recent Green Paper, with regard to the European telecommunications sector, are of dual intent. This paper examines these aims and the threat posed to them, as well as discussing ambiguities in the Green Paper itself. Nevertheless, the author acknowledges that this is a first worthy attempt to define a policy for Europe.
