Abstract

En el marco de la cooperación entre la CEPAL y el Gobierno de Francia, el CELADE-División de Población organizó el Taller sobre Transformaciones Demográficas, Transferencias Intergeneracionales y Protección Social en América Latina que tuvo lugar los días 6 y 7 de julio de 2005. En este número de la revista se presentan siete artículos seleccionados de los expuestos en el taller, en los cuales se muestra el estado emergente del conocimiento sobre las transferencias intergeneracionales en América Latina, Además, abren el camino para ahondar en varias líneas de investigación sobre el tema.
