Acerca del consumo de los nuevos modelos latinoamericanos

Abstract

Su objetivo es estudiar que papel ha jugado el consumo en las estrategias económicas y políticas seguidas recientemente por los países de América Latina. Analiza el significado que el consumo suele tener en la teoría económica, los factores sociales en la difusión de los estilos de consumo, y la información estadística disponible para describir los patrones de concentración y difusión del consumo de bienes duraderos, en especial para el caso chileno.
