Türkiye ve G8 Ülkelerinin Lojistik Performans Endeksine Göre Karþýlaþtýrýlmasý

Abstract

Küreselleþme ve artan rekabetle birlikte, lojistik uluslararasý ticarette önemli bir unsur haline gelmiþtir. Küresel düzeyde rekabetin yaþanmasý, firmalarýn ürünlerini daha hýzlý bir þekilde hazýr ederek, teslim etmelerini gerektirmektedir. Üretim maliyetlerinin birbirine yakýn deðerler arz ettiði günümüz ortamýnda, rekabet edebilme de lojistik hizmetlerin önemi giderek artmaktadýr. Dünya ticaretinden daha fazla pay elde etmede ülkelerin lojistik kapasiteleri ve alt yapýlarý da önemli bir hal almýþtýr. Dünya bankasý tarafýndan ülkelerin temel lojistik aktivitelerine yönelik performanslarýnýn ortaya konulmasý amacý ile 2007 yýlýndan bu yana Küresel Lojistik Performans Endeksi ölçümleri yapýlmaktadýr. Ýlki 2007 yýlýnda yapýlan lojistik performans endeksi 2 yýlda bir yayýmlanmakta ve böylece ülkelerin geliþimleri de takip edilebilmektedir. Bu çalýþmada lojistik sektörünün G8 ülkeleri ile Türkiye arasýndaki karþýlaþtýrmalý durumunu ortaya koymak amacý ile Dünya Bankasý tarafýndan hazýrlanan Lojistik performans Endeksi kullanýlmýþtýr. Çalýþmada Türkiye’nin ve G8 ülkelerinin lojistik performans endeksindeki mevcut durumu, ülkelerin avantajlarý ve dezavantajlarý ele alýnarak, çözüm önerileri ortaya konulmuþtur.
