Üniversite Öðrencilerinin Finansal Okuryazarlýk Düzeylerinin Tespitine Yönelik Bir Araþtýrma: Harran Üniversitesi Örneði

Abstract

Bu çalýþma Harran Üniversitesi Ýktisadi ve Ýdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde öðrenim gören 4. sýnýf öðrencilerinin muhasebe finans dersleri hakkýndaki genel düþünceleri ile bu derslere iliþkin finansal okuryazarlýk düzeylerini (baþarý düzeylerini) tespit etmek amacýyla yapýlmýþtýr. Ayrýca öðrencilerin muhasebe finans dersleri hakkýndaki genel düþünceleri ile okuryazarlýk düzeylerinin demografik deðiþkenlere göre farklýlýk gösterip göstermediðinin araþtýrýlmasý da çalýþmanýn diðer bir amacýný oluþturmaktadýr. Çalýþmanýn amaçlarý doðrultusunda hazýrlanan anket formu 447 öðrenciye uygulanmýþ olup elde edilen anket verileri Frekans Analizi, Baðýmsýz Örneklem T Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi gibi istatistiki teknikler kullanýlarak analiz edilmiþtir. Söz konusu analizler sonucunda öðrencilerin muhasebe ve finans derslerine iliþkin okuryazarlýklarýnýn yeterli olmadýðý ve bazý demografik deðiþkenlere göre öðrencilerin muhasebe finans dersleri hakkýndaki görüþlerinde ve finansal okuryazarlýk düzeylerinde farklýlýklar olduðu tespit edilmiþtir.
