Orta Asya Ekonomilerinin Tekstil ve Hazýr Giyim Sektöründeki Uluslararasý Rekabet Gücü

Abstract

Tekstil ve hazýr giyim sektörü Orta Asya ekonomilerinin en önemli sanayi dalýný oluþturmakta ve bu sanayi dalý Orta Asya’nýn dýþ ticareti ve ekonomik kalkýnmasýnda önemli rol oynamaktadýr. Son 15 yýlda tekstil ve hazýr giyim ürünleri ihracatý %67 oranýnda bir artýþ göstermiþtir. Bugün, Orta Asya ülkeleri birçok tekstil ve hazýr giyim ürünlerinin üreticisi ve ayný zamanda ihracatçýsýdýr. Bu çalýþmada Orta Asya ekonomilerinin tekstil ve hazýr giyim sektöründeki rekabet gücü analiz edilmiþtir. Bu amaçla çalýþmada Açýklanmýþ Karþýlaþtýrmalý Üstünlükler (AKÜ) ve Açýklanmýþ Simetrik Karþýlaþtýrmalý Üstünlükler (ASKÜ) indekslerinden yararlanýlmýþtýr. Analiz aþamasýnda 2001-2014 dönemine ait Uluslararasý Ticaret Merkezi’nin verileri kullanýlmýþtýr. Araþtýrma sonucuna göre, Orta Asya ülkeleri (Kazakistan hariç) tekstil ve hazýr giyim sektöründe karþýlaþtýrmalý üstünlüðe sahiptirler. Orta Asya ülkelerinin tekstil ve hazýr giyim ürünleri ticaretindeki uluslararasý rekabet gücünün arttýrýlmasý için üretimde kalite ve tasarýma daha çok önem verilmesi gerekmektedir
