Hastalarýn Hastane Tercihinde Etkili Kriterler ve Hastanelerin MULTIMOORA ile Sýralanmasý: Eskiþehir Örneði

Abstract

Son dönemde hastalýklarýn çeþitliliðinin artmasý, tedavi imkânlarýnýn çoðalmasý, nüfustaki büyük artýþ, sosyal güvenlik reformlarý ve biliþim teknolojisinde yaþanan hýzlý geliþmeler saðlýk sektöründe deðiþimlere yol açmýþtýr. Yaþanan deðiþimler ve özel saðlýk kuruluþlarýnýn sayýsýnýn artmasý ile oluþan rekabet ortamý, hastalarýn saðlýk ile ilgili problemlerde karar verme süreçlerini karmaþýklaþtýrabilmektedir. Bu durum hastalarýn alýþkanlýklarýnýn dýþýna çýkmasýna ve tedavi süreçlerini sorgulayarak pasif durumdan aktif duruma geçmelerine neden olmuþtur. Ortaya çýkan hastane seçimi problemi Eskiþehir þehir merkezindeki hastaneler temel alýnarak deðerlendirilmiþtir. Çalýþma ile hastalarýn, hastane tercihinde etkili olan kriterlerin önem aðýrlýklarýný belirlenmiþ ve Eskiþehir þehir merkezinde yer alan hastaneler bu faktörler ýþýðýnda çok kriterli karar verme tekniklerinden MULTIMOORA ile sýralanmýþtýr. Sonuç olarak, hastane seçiminde en etkili kriterin her türlü hizmet ve uzmanýn bulunmasý olduðu tespit edilirken, kamu hastanelerinin rekabet düzeylerinin özel hastanelerle yarýþabilecek düzeyde olduðu görülmüþtür
