Abstract

El protocolo Para el Territorio Socialmente Responsable® es el resultado de una experiencia de gestión local sostenible que ha demostrado la importancia de la administración pública en la innovación social. Este artículo describe el proceso a través del cual se obtuvo dicho protocolo, sus características y principios, así como las ventajas que ofrece. Se presenta la definición de Territorio Socialmente Responsable (TSR) como contribución al desarrollo teórico de una incipiente área de investigación, cuyas perspectivas se ven favorecidas por los potenciales efectos prácticos sobre las alianzas públicas y empresariales a nivel local. Dicho protocolo ofrece ventajas competitivas a las administraciones públicas que se preparan para aprovechar las oportunidades que platea la estrategia de crecimiento Europa 2020.
