| Abstract |
We present a comparative analysis of economic development in China and India, having into account the main factors which have favored the increase of real Gdp per capita for the period 1991-2005, with special reference to human capital, industry and foreign trade, by means of the estimation of an econometric model. We compare the increase of real Gdp per inhabitant in both countries with other Asian countries and with wolrd average and we analyze the challenges for the next ten years and the role of international cooperation in Asia.
