Abstract

Los países pueden tanto cooperar, cuanto competir por inversiones extranjeras, estableciendo políticas unilaterales y comunes. Este trabajo hace una descripción historia de los regimenes jurídicos nacionales e internacionales de la inversión extranjera con la finalidad de evaluar la experiencia y las alternativas de MERCOSUR como una región integrada.

Countries can both cooperate or compete for foreign investments establishing unilateral and common policies. This paper sets a historical description of domestic and international legal regimes of foreign investment in order to assess the experience and alternatives of MERCOSUR as an integrated region.
