Erneuerbare Energien: Deutschland baut Technologie-Exporte aus

Abstract

Der Markt für erneuerbare Energien boomt in Deutschland seit Jahren. Durch die Energiewende wird er noch weiter wachsen. Auch weltweit steigt die Nachfrage nach erneuerbaren Energien. Deutsche Anbieter von Techniken zur Nutzung erneuerbarer Energien sind weltweit führend. Deutschland ist nach den USA zweitgrößter Exporteur von Windenergietechnologien und nach China der zweitgrößte Exporteur von Photovoltaikanlagen und -komponenten. Aufgrund der stark gewachsenen Nachfrage in Deutschland sind allerdings im Bereich der Photovoltaik die Importe stärker gewachsen als die Exporte. Der Import von Photovoltaikanlagen und -komponenten in Deutschland wird zunehmend durch chinesische Anbieter dominiert. Umgekehrt hingegen gelingt es deutschen Unternehmen weniger gut, sich auf dem chinesischen Markt durchzusetzen. Um ihre Wettbewerbsvorteile auszubauen, sollten sich deutsche Anbieter noch stärker als bisher auf ausländische Märkte konzentrieren.
